June Drone Biz Event To Feature Field Of View Founder

GRAND FORKS, N.D. — A veteran of the North Dakota unmanned aircraft systems industry will share his story at this month’s Drone Biz event.

From the University of North Dakota to the field, local entrepreneur David Dvorak has built Field of View into a leader in aerial imaging and mapping solutions for unmanned aircraft.

As part of his presentation, Dvorak will highlight the company’s product, GeoSnap, talk about aspects and challenges of mapping with drones and provide practical insights he’s gleaned as an entrepreneur in the industry for more than 10 years.

This month’s lunch will take place from noon to 1 p.m. June 8 in Ballroom 3 of the Alerus Center, 1200 42nd St. S. Entrance is free but lunch can be purchased for $12.50. RSVPs are requested by June 6 and can be submitted here.

Drone Biz is held from noon to 1 p.m.  the second Thursday of each month at rotating locations around Grand Forks.
